Faded 2-Tone Sunburst in Heavy Relic! What a wonderful combination Jason Smith has chosen here! Fantastic color gradient with small and large quirks, significant wear in the appropriate places and countless hairline cracks. You can immediately see the absolute focus on detail that Jason Smith is known for. So this gem comes with aging at its finest, superbly authentic look. The maple fingerboard and ash body with a killer vintage patina seem to have been "on the road" for years. But this dream Strat not only looks good, it also swings really well. This, of course, has to do with the beefier neck and its grippy Large-C profile, which combined with a 9.5" radius and Narrow/Tall 6105 frets really plays like a dream. The already dry very good sound behavior is perfectly transferred to the amp by the Handwound Fat 50s. Brilliant, clear, with a lot of twang, but still without harsh highs and with enough belly - just as you would expect from a 1955 Masterbuilt! And with this Stratocaster, the enthusiast gets another treat besides the usual case-candies: the cover plate for the back of the body was signed and dated by Jason Smith himself. We are happy to offer you this great player with best look and perfect 50s sound in mint condition without any playing marks on the frets.
