We're used to a lot from Dale Wilson, but this Strat in "Super Heavy Relic" finish is a real eye-catcher even by his standards! Compared to Heavy Relic Strats, there's even more bare wood here, the rest is covered with countless aging details like cracks, hairline cracks and paint chips as usual. But also sonically we are dealing with an exceptional Strat. Already very resonant when dry, the Handwound 59 singlecoils provide blues sound per excellence. Bell-like and round, if necessary and with distortion also biting and aggressive - here only the player decides in which direction it should go! The neck comes with a nice grippy "65 Strat C" profile and 45085 "Vintage Upgrade" frets. The 9.5" neck radius does its part to provide maximum playing comfort. Although Dale Wilson is already a masterbuilder legend, you can see from guitars like this that he is still improving from year to year!
