The CC#44 “Happy Jack” is a replica of one of the most beautiful original Bursts from the collection of Vic da Pra, author of the book series “Burst Believers.” This particular model features a particularly beautiful grained top, which appears different from every angle with its broad flamed, three-dimensional look. Combined with the beautiful Burst it is simply a feast for the eyes. The aging replicates the authentic look of the original with many dents and dings, signs of wear and the distinctive belt buckle wear on the back. The neck has a super comfortable '59 Medium profile, which in combination with the slightly higher and wider frets ensures optimal playability. But the best thing is definitely the sound of the guitar! Super direct and resonant, great overtones and an excellent frequency spectrum. It smacks, sings and has a great tone! The two Custombuckers together with the selected tonewoods produce a Les Paul sound at its finest. What's more, this Paula also comes with True Historic specs such as select woods, hide glue, super-thin nitrocellulose lacquer etc., which of course further increases its rarity value and thus ensures the best possible value retention.
