It is a well-known fact that PRS combines immense player's value with extraordinary visuals. This Santana Retro, however, really is the finest of the finest in maple tops: a „10 Top". At PRS, this designation stands for a top that has a defined figure over its entire surface without any "dead spots". These guitars are clearly recognizable by the small "10" next to the serial number on the back of the headstock. And it is not only visually clear that we're dealing with an instrument from the absolute top class. The beefy neck with "Santana Retro" profile is unbelievably comfortable, the jumbo frets provide a modern playing feel and it goes without saying that there’s no buzz at all. The powerful, resonant dry sound unfolds through the 58/15 humbucker on the bridge and the Santana humbucker on the neck on the amp centered, assertive yet transparent - just as you would expect from an ideal P.A.F. sound. Our tip for all who are looking for an instrument to look at and play ;-) Apart from slight belt buckle scratches on the backside the guitar is in top condition.
