Gibson Super 400 CN (1959)

Blonde Gibson Super 400 from 1959 in excellent condition! I can recommend this guitar to every jazzman. Originally the Super 400 CN had no pickup, this one was added later to be able to play the guitar with more power. In the course of this the tone pot and the volume pot were also retrofitted. Of course this has turned it into a pure player guitar, but in return it is a top player jazz guitar with the best playing and sound characteristics. André Waldenmaier of Staufer Guitars has installed a Staufer (made by Häusel) 57 pickup, which fits the guitar very well. The original pickguard had to be cut out for the pickup of course, but is otherwise in very good condition without cracks. The strap pin is not original. To play the guitar is a dream. The pleasant medium neck fits perfectly in the hand and due to the professional re-banding it has a great playing comfort. Here you can get the original from 1959 for less than a new custom shop. And that even naturally aged with a fantastic look!
