Here we have the Charvel USA San Dimas Custom Shop in a beautiful “Vanilla Shake” finish. Charvel stands for guitars that are designed for speed, comfort and playability, and this gem is a real player, a real hot rod! It features an alder body, an attractive rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays and elegant gold-colored hardware. The speedy neck is a one-piece quartersawn maple neck with a 12-16" compound radius and 22 Jumbo frets. One of the things that sets Charvels apart is the compound radius of the fingerboards, which are more curved at the lower frets and become flatter towards the upper end. This makes chords easier to play at the lower frets, while fast leads and bends at the higher frets almost play themselves. In addition, the gold-colored hardware and the smooth, detune-free Floyd Rose, which is always ready for the nastiest dive bombs, are truly captivating. A DiMarzio Super Distortion was installed in the bridge position and a DiMarzio “DP-151CR” in the neck position. The result: punch and sonority at their best! The sun is rising in the Metal sky on this amp! A fat board with plenty of harmonics and mids that will give any blow-dry hairstyle a new shine. Modern, progressive and above all harder sounds with extreme clarity, power and speed. The neck and bridge pickups are calibrated in terms of performance and sound quality so that they work together optimally and also produce distinctive individual voices.
