Duesenberg Starplayer TV TransBrown (2000)

With its arched spruce top, flamed maple back and cream-colored binding the Starplayer TV is considered one of the most elegant instruments of our time, especially in this gloss finish in elegant TransBrown. This semi-acoustic electric guitar is extremely flexible, but always retains its own character with its unique Duesenberg tone. For powerful leads and powerful riffs it is equipped with a classically wound GrandVintage humbucker in the bridge position while a Domino P90 with a strong character is available on the neck for airy chords and creamy melodies. In the middle position the pickups are switched so that certain frequencies are filtered out of the humbucker's signal to brighten the tone, creating an independent "third sound". Each Duesenberg instrument is also equipped with Duesenberg's own detail-focused hardware and has been painstakingly poked and crafted to ensure optimum playability and perfect feel. The super comfortable D-neck profile and the 12'' fingerboard radius also serve this purpose. The harmonious overall concept is rounded off with a smooth-running Duesenberg Deluxe Tremola. This Starplayer has obviously been much loved and frequently played in recent years. It is therefore not surprising that it shows clear signs of use, which we have of course taken into account in the pricing, as well as the missing original case. The guitar comes with an ES-335 case, which is a little too big, and the frets also show signs of wear. We are therefore delighted to be able to offer you this great combination of look, playing characteristics and sound at a top price.
