It features a body specifically designed to Mustaine's specifications. The double X in the name Axxion stands for Megadeth's 20th anniversary and we're proud to have been part of developing this guitar that celebrates two decades of great Metal." The Axxion was designed for serious rockers and its menacing, axe-like shape is accentuated by black hardware against its all-black finish. The rosewood fretboard is adorned with special "XX" inlays. The guitar features a neck-through-body construction with a 25.5" scale length. Combined with the expectedly flat neck profile and 24 Jumbo frets you get an absolutely stellar playability here. ...and the mahogany body plus three-piece mahogony neck deliver truly massive resonance and cut-through power! On the amp we're dealing with Seymour Duncan JB and Jazz humbuckers, which of course deliver the fattest tones. Punch, punch and more punch! The aggressive yet always warm and never sterile sound reaches its perfection here: saturated tone plus an immensely powerful bite that stays transparent throughout!
