In the last years as we all know there was a lot of hype surrounding Kirk Hammett and the Les Paul Greeny he acquired. A guitar that made music history in the hands of Peter Green and Gary Moore. However, it is often forgotten that perhaps no other instrument is as closely associated with Metallica's influential lead guitarist as the ESP KH-2. The KH-2 Vintage at hand is a special adaptation of Kirk's personal standard model, which was used during numerous recordings and tours in the studio and on stages around the world. The "vibe" of the original was perfectly recreated by the luthiers at the ESP Custom Shop in Japan in the form of a deep black, worn finish with small chips and countless scratches, the lightning-fast neck and the famous stickers ("Caution Hot" and "Kirk's guitar"). But the KH-2 Vintage offers more than just its cool looks. It's an absolute shred machine with a comfortable alder body, an extra-thin U-shaped maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard with 24 Extra-Jumbo frets and Kirk's "Skull & Bones" inlays, as well as high-end components such as Gotoh tuners, a Floyd Rose bridge and a set of active top pickups (EMG 60A at the neck and EMG 81 at the bridge). With a modern high-gain amp these offer a grandiose sound of the highest tone density and clean separation without mulch and mush. "Master of Puppets", "...And Justice For All", "Enter Sandman" - these are the tunes for which this ESP, which we can offer you in mint condition, is made.
