This 20-piece limited edition guitar, built by EVH masterbuilder Chip Ellis as an exact replica of the Ivory Wolfgang USA that Eddie van Halen played on tour in 2015, features a basswood body, maple neck and ebony fingerboard. EVH Wolfgang Zebra Humbuckers are used as pickups, which in combination with the low detuning Floyd Rose vibrato system sweat uncompromising rock'n'roll of the 80s from all pores: "Running with the Devil", "Eruption", "Ain't Talking about Love", these are the tunes you have in your head as soon as you take this instrument from the later years of the cult guitarist in your hand. As a special gimmick, a kill switch is still built in here, which supported Eddie's creativity in his last live years. "Chip built that for me and did a wonderful job," Eddie said of his tribute model. "I compared it to my trusty old Stealth and the white one sounded better, so it immediately became my main guitar for rehearsals and tour." And collector's hearts beat faster too when you open the custom van Halen flight case: included are a hand-signed certificate, EVH leather strap, EVH instrument cable, EVH strings and an EVH pick box including picks.
