Fender Esquire Limited Relic CuNiFe (2014)

This 2014 Fender Custom Shop Esquire Relic is a beautiful and unique guitar that is guaranteed to turn heads! How many of you can claim to own a Fender with a single “Wide Range CuNiFe” humbucker at the bridge? This pickup produces voluminous humbucker tones with lush bass and extremely clear highs. It can deliver “hi-fi” clarity while offering rich attack and defined sound, no matter how hard you play. Fender hired renowned pickup designer Seth Lover for this project, who was able to develop a high-output version of the dual-coil pickup with the typical Fender tone. The “Wide Range CuNiFe” works with large coils and a CuNiFe threaded bar magnet, which produce the characteristic brilliant sound. Naturally warm Blues, Rock, and Jazz sounds par excellence! The volume and tone controls allow you to work with the tone wonderfully and create a wide range of sounds. The chrome cover with an open pole piece design and a 70s Fender vintage logo also greatly enhances the look of the guitar. Which brings us to the guitar's unique appearance. Unfamiliar at first glance, this Esquire comes with a super clean look that is not disturbed by a pickguard or pickup switch. Classy butterscotch finish with subtle, extremely authentic relicing. It's also nice that the neck and fingerboard (one-piece) are made of attractively grained birdseye maple. Furthermore, you can enjoy the very best playing characteristics as the Esquire comes with an extremely comfortable “Large C” neck profile (.880-.940'‘), 9.5’' fretboard radius, and perfectly dressed frets.
