Here we have one of the more unusual guitar creations we have seen from the Fender Custom Shop so far. The most striking thing about the "Mischief Maker" is, of course, that here a beefy Telecaster neck with a 10/56 "Large V" profile has been mounted on a heavily reliced Strat body with a black-over-sunburst finish. The left hand feels like it's on a classic 50s Tele, while the right hand enjoys the comfortable Strat shaping. But if you think that this is the only gimmick on the guitar, you are wrong. In fact, the Custom Shop team came up with a special circuit here that brings together the best of the Strat and Tele worlds. Under the upper master volume pot is a master tone pot with "greasebucket" circuit, which ensures that only the treble and not the gain is affected when regulating. And the lower pot acts as a blend control, allowing you to smoothly blend the bridge and neck pickups together. With the Handwound Texas Special on the bridge, the Handwound 65 Reverse-Wound/Reverse-Polarity in the middle, and the Handwound 69 on the neck, you're really getting the best of both worlds here with almost unlimited sound gradations. We can offer you this limited edition guitar in top condition.
