After we sold our last McCready Strat we immediately went on the search again. And although there are only 60 specimens of this iconic Stratocaster in the world we were able to get hold of another one, which we can offer you today. The McCready Strat is certainly a holy grail of Fender replicas. This guitar, which comes from the hands of masterbuilder Vincent van Trigt in mint condition and with complete accessories, is an insanely meticulously crafted clone of the original 1960s Strat, with which Mike McCready recorded legendary Pearl Jam hits like "Yellow Leadbetter" or "Nothing as it Seems". Vincent van Trigt replicated every specification of the original for the Limited Edition and, of course, every playing trace that Mike added to the guitar during countless concerts. Even the handwound pickups by Josefina Campos are exactly the same as the originals. In fact we've never seen a tribute guitar so richly detailed - not only when admiring the countless dings and dongs do you realize why Vincent van Trigt is the absolute shooting star among master builders, but also when playing. A fantastic neck, which could hardly be better on the real thing, meets exactly the sound you know from so many Pearl Jam recordings. In addition to the guitar there are a lot of accessories that should make every collector's heart beat faster: a large-format brochure documenting the creation of the guitar (fun fact on the side: Mike McCready still thought the Strat was a 1959 until the team in the Custom Shop found out the real year of manufacture), a poster, stickers, a photo documentation, a signed extra certificate and its own strap. Even the case has been given the sticker of the original! This strictly limited Strat is currently one of the most sought-after masterbuilts - so you have to be quick again!
