Fender Stratocaster 55 Hardtail MB Greg Fessler Florian Jäger Makeover (2021)

Today we are delighted to offer you a guitar that is so exclusive that even we have never come across anything quite like it: a '55 Stratocaster, masterbuilt by Greg Fessler and further refined by none other than Florian Jäger. Of course Greg Fessler's aging would have been perfectly adequate, but a Jäger makeover is definitely in a league of its own. The ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer alone, which makes the tactile structure of the wood wonderfully visible and palpable, is simply phenomenal. Without relying heavily on quirks or lacquer abrasio, Florian Jäger has created a vintage patina that is second to none. ...and the extremely attractive color of the “2-Tone Sunburst” finish perfectly rounds off the overall visual package. But that's not all, because masterbuilder Greg Fessler's signature can be felt in every detail that has to do with optimal playing characteristics and fantastic sound. He combines a “Large C” neck profile with speedy 6100 Jumbo frets and a 9.5'' fretboard radius. In combination with the fantastic weight of only 3150 grams, typical for a hardtail, and the satin finish on the back of the AA flame neck the playing feel is incredibly good! And in terms of sound, this guitar is also in a league of its own. Custom Shop legend Josefina Campos wound the “Handwound 56” pickups (including RWRP in the middle to suppress noise) and gave these pickups just the right amount of warmth and richness, combined with fast attack and perfect response. Whether clean, distorted or high-gain, it's fun to savor every note here. From bell-like and sparkling to wonderfully rich and smacking, this Stratocaster always cuts a fine figure.
