Whenever we get our hands on a guitar from masterbuilder Austin MacNutt, we are fascinated by his phenomenal aging. The meticulousness and attention to detail with which he relics these instruments is truly incredible. This is also the case with this 1955 Stratocaster. Not only are there countless hairline cracks, larger and smaller blemishes and extensive abrasions on the heavy relic finish in "Faded 3-Tone Sunburst", but MacNutt even went so far as to replicate supposedly "dirty" areas on the white pickguard under the strings. And this meticulousness and attention to even the smallest nuances continues: super comfortable "Large C" profile, stripped neck back, 9.5'' fingerboard radius, an ideal weight of 3190 grams and the proven Narrow/Tall frets ensure a stunning playability. And when choosing the pickups the masterbuilder opted for "Handwound Fat 50s", of course with RWRP to suppress noise. Earthy, expressive sound, ideal for the perfect Blues sounds! Lots of smack, but the typical pearliness of a 50's Strat is never lost. Bell tone at its very best! So we are delighted to be able to offer you this exclusive Stratocaster in top condition.
