With this '55 Relic Strat from Greg Fessler, you get the ultimate Maple Neck, Ash Body Strat package. First of all, of course, the killer aging catches the eye. Here Greg Fessler has done a super job and conjured a Heavy Relic Blackie of the finest. With the assorted lightweight ash body, the guitar weighs in at just 3160 grams and is super resonant. The neck has a 57 style soft V shape and feels great in the hand with its 9.5" radius and 6105 frets. Slightly fat and very comfortable. Josefina handwound pickups are used as pickups. A HW 69 at the neck, a HW Fat 50 in the middle and a HW Texas Special at the bridge. So the optimal combination for all classic Strat sounds. From bluesy, to bell tone, to a little more output at the bridge for rocking out. The guitar is in top condition with no play marks on the frets.
