You can immediately see the absolute focus on detail that this masterbuilder has always been known for. This gem comes with the finest aging, resulting in a uniquely authentic look. Furthermore, the maple fingerboard and the ash body enchant with a phenomenal vintage patina, which gives the impression that this guitar has been “on the road” for years. But this amazing Strat not only looks good, it also vibrates really well. Of course this also has to do with the somewhat stronger neck (.850-.990''), which in combination with a 9.5“ radius, ”57 Style Soft V" profile and the popular 6105 frets really plays like a dream. The “Handwound 50's” pickups (slightly overwound at the bridge) perfectly transmit the already excellent dry sound to the amp. Pearly and bell-like, the pickups bring the wonderful sound of the 50s back to life. As is typical for a mapleneck, the guitar comes with a lot of attack and percussiveness, but also provides more than enough warmth and substance for crunch and even heavily distorted sounds.
