If you are looking for the ultimate 50s Maple Neck Strat, you can't go past this 58 Dale Wilson Strat. Here the undisputed No1 of the Masterbuilders has once shown how high the bar can be. The color is described as "Masterbuilders Choice" on the spec sheet and that was the specification of the English dealer "Peach-Guitars" for whom this Strat was built. And the masterbuilders choice was a faded Sonic Blue over Sunburst and the whole thing in the Ultra Heavy Aging version. What a Look!! The first time you play it, you will notice the light weight with only 3250 grams. Dream medium neck with a 59 Esquire C shape, 9.5" radius and 6105 frets for optimal modern playing comfort. But now to the sound. And here I can only say, this Strat must be heard. The Handwound 55 Low G Alnico pickups might just become my new favorites. Super bell-like, with pleasantly present highs and just the right amount of midrange. Together with the super vibration behavior, I can only say "Really rarely heard such a horny 50's Strat". Here you do not want to stop playing. Super rare dream Strat in absolutely mint condition.
