Strats with a headstock in the same color as the body - called matched headstock - are rare birds. We are all the more pleased that our specimen in classic Fiesta Red is also such an insanely good instrument. Even before the first note, one notices the bombastic feel here. The neck with its Large 60s C-Shape is on the chunkier side and feels fantastically grippy. It sounds just as powerful coming out of the amp: This Strat sounds so full and warm that you first want to play half an hour of Slow Blues. With the first note you have the feeling to slip into an old, well worn sneaker. Of course, we can't say exactly how much of the great sound is due to the fact that the previous owner took it to George Foresters cryo-tuning - a special cold treatment. The bottom line is that this is an exceptional Strat that comes in top condition.
