I think this Stratocaster doesn't need too many explanations. The John Cruz Pinup Strats are certainly the best known and most sought after Strats from the Fender Custom Shop. And that's exactly what makes them highly sought-after collector models. Here we have the 61 Olympic White over Sunburst model in top form. Visually, the guitar is an absolute stunner, and as with every Cruz Pinup we've had so far, the sound is right up there with the looks. Typical warm, full, differentiated Bell-Tone sound with this slight compression, as you know it from the real old Strats. Goes very much in the direction of John Mayer sound. The signature Cruz Handwound pickups do a super job here. The neck profile is a 60's style Oval C (790"-930") with 9.5" radius and 6100 jumbo frets for best playing comfort. Additionally, it has the blend control which allows you to blend in the bridge pickup to the neck pickup. Here you get not only a top collector model, but simply a dream Strat that meets the highest sonic and playing requirements.
