Fender Stratocaster 61 Pinup Relic Masterbuilt Vincent van Trigt (2023)

It's hard to find a Strat from masterbuilder Vincent van Trigt. And then in the pinup version? You might as well be looking for the Amber Room. So we are extremely pleased today to be able to offer you two(!) pinups of this brilliant masterbuilder from collector's hand. But the most striking thing is that these two Stratocasters should not actually exist, as the Fender Custom Shop decided at the end of 2022 that they would stop producing pinup guitars completely. However, there were still a few orders that were originally in John Cruz's order book, who had since left the Custom Shop. The remaining orders, including this Strat, were taken over by masterbuilder Vincent van Trigt. And so it turned out that this gem was produced after all. ...and what a fantastic instrument he has created here! Phenomenal vintage finish in wonderfully patinated "Vintage Blonde" with a relatively subtle relicing by Vincent's standards with numerous minor and major flaws as well as paint abrasion and color differences in significant places. Matching this is an aged greenguard and as the icing on the cake a pinup sticker on the back of the body.The playability of the Stratocaster is fantastic thanks to the 9.5'' fingerboard radius, "60 Style Oval C" neck profile and the popular 6100 Jumbo frets. In terms of sound you get something very special here! The "Handwound Strat JCE Custom" pickups developed by John Cruz in the style of his legendary "Bone Tones" are used, giving the guitar a powerful, juicy tone with a fast attack. Whether clean, distorted or high-gain, it's fun to savor every note. The best sounds à la John Mayer, an absolutely stunning look, perfect playability and the highest rarity value ... what more could you want? And because everything is right here anyway, we can also offer you this Strat in mint, practically unplayed condition.
