Fender Stratocaster 61 Relic Pinup Masterbuilt Vincent van Trigt (2023)

Finding a Strat by masterbuilder Vincent van Trigt is difficult enough. And then in the Pinup version? You might as well be searching for the Amber Room. So we are extremely pleased to be able to offer you such an exclusive model from this ingenious masterbuilder today. But the most striking thing about it is that this Stratocaster shouldn't actually exist, as the Fender Custom Shop decided at the end of 2022 to completely discontinue the production of Pinup guitars. However, there were still a few orders that were originally in the order book of John Cruz, who had since left the Custom Shop. The remaining orders, including this Strat, were taken over by masterbuilder Vincent van Trigt. And so it came to pass that this gem was produced after all. ...and what a dream instrument he has created here! A phenomenal vintage finish in a wonderfully patinated “Olympic White over 3-Tone Sunburst” with fantastic relicing, where the numerous small and large imperfections and the considerable paint wear are in exactly the right places. When you look at the progression of the yellowed white finish, you can see why Vincent enjoyed such an exceptional status at the Fender Custom Shop. To match, there's a greenguard and, as the “icing on the cake” a pinup sticker on the back of the body. The Stratocaster's playability is fantastic thanks to the 9.5'' fretboard radius, “60 Style Oval C” neck profile and the awesome 6100 Jumbo frets. ...and in terms of sound, you get something very special here! The “Handwound Master Designed LTD” pickups developed by John Cruz are used, giving the guitar a powerful and tight, yet warm sound with a fast attack. Whether clean, distorted or high-gain, every note is spot on. Furthermore a blend control has also been installed, allowing the bridge and neck pickups to be mixed together continuously. The best sounds à la John Mayer, an absolutely stunning look, perfect playability and extreme rarity... what more could you want? And because everything is already perfect here, we can also offer you this Strat in absolutely top condition.
