Masterbuilder Jason Smith really pulled out all the stops with this Super-Strat. Starting with the strong surfer look, which enchants with its intense relic finish in “Surf Green”. Countless hairline cracks, blemishes and paint-free areas create an appearance as if Carl Wilson dragged this guitar across every beach in California. As a special icing on the cake you also get a matching headstock with the obligatory cigarette burn. And the playability of the Stratocaster is also first-class thanks to a 9.5'' fingerboard radius, "60 Style Oval C" neck profile and the proven Narrow/Tall frets. But especially in terms of sound you get the best of all worlds here. The singlecoils are a "Handwound 69" on the neck and a "Fat 50" in the middle, which produce pretty much all the classic Stratocaster tones that we love these guitars for. On the bridge a Seymour Duncan "Pearly Gates" humbucker delivers a rich Rock sound. Fat and smacking as you would expect from pickups that bear this big name. In addition, an S1 switch is used here, which switches the bridge and neck pickups together to offer an even wider sound spectrum. So this Strat is a jack of all trades and is at home in all genres of music. As a special treat the future owner will also receive a cover plate handsigned by Jason Smith and a color-coordinated fender cable.
