This is certainly true of this '62 Super Strat, a wonderful showpiece that is particularly captivating in terms of aging and spec combination. Top-notch quality at a Masterbuilt level, but at a Teambuilt price! The fabulous finish in impressively super-heavy reliced ​​"Super Faded/Aged Black" with countless larger and smaller imperfections, significant paint wear and artificially yellowed areas gives the guitar a phenomenal vintage patina. Just look at the brownish-yellow pickup covers and control knobs to see the level of meticulous detail with which this magnificent instrument was crafted. It's further enhanced by a range of fantastic specs that are hard to find in this combination. The neck and middle positions feature "Handwound Fat 60s" singlecoil pickups, which deliver a wonderfully bell-like and round clean tone, sounding open and transparent, yet still with plenty of midrange and warmth. The Seymour Duncan "Pearly Gates" humbucker at the bridge, on the other hand, produces the finest, fattest Rock tones when distorted, instantly transporting you to sonic heaven. Rich, crunchy and tight – it's a pure joy. And now all of this has been combined with a RWRP option on the middle pickup to suppress unwanted noise, as well as "Tone Saver Treble Bleed" and "Grease Bucket Tone Control" to prevent the loss of high frequencies and muddy tones at lower volumes.
