And when you read the name van Trigt on a case you know why that is and that your jaw will surely drop when you open it. We felt the same way about this '63 HSS Strat in "Super Heavy Relic" finish. The color is so faded that you have to look in the spec sheet to find out that this was once Sonic Blue. With the additional discoloration called "Nicotine Marks" and the ultra-dark neck it's just the killer look van Trigt is so famous for. Dry, the resonance of this particular Strat is already sensational and is passed on to the amp by the two Handwound Poblano Singlecoils and the Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates Zebra Humbucker exactly the same. At the neck and in the middle best vintage Strat sound and at the bridge Eddie van Halen smiles down from his cloud. Thanks to the "60s Style Oval C" neck profile, 9.5" fretboard radius and 6105 jumbo frets there is nothing left to be desired in terms of playing comfort, so we can really offer you a Rock Strat of the very highest quality. ...and even if it sounds a bit ironic considering the distinctive relic look, the guitar comes to you in mint condition!
