With the Limited Edition Diablo Strat, Fender has created a classic Stratocaster for those who like it a bit hotter! The foundation is a classic 1955 mapleneck Strat with a hand-selected ash body in "Desert Tan" finish, which has been given a Heavy Relic treatment. Matching the chrome hardware you'll also find a rare aluminum pickguard housing the three "Custom Shop El Diablo" pickups. These deliver a brutally fat singlecoil sound that gives any amp a run for its money. The neck features a "10/56" profile, inspired by the classic thick Strat necks of the 1950s, but with a 9.5'' fretboard radius and Jumbo frets ensuring perfect playability.The electronics include both the "Tone Saver Treble Bleed" and the "Grease-Bucket" circuit, providing great versatility without loss of tone. Even unplugged the El Diablo Strat sounds very fat and resonant due to the lightweight ash body and sturdy neck. When plugged in it unleashes its full power. From Blues to Hard Rock solos just fly from your fingers and you won't want to put the guitar down!
