Fender Stratocaster Eric Clapton NOS Almond Green Masterbuilt Todd Krause (2021)
Todd Krause, “the” Clapton masterbuilder par excellence, produces unique and special custom models, which together with the work of Vincent van Trigt and Dale Wilson are among the most sought-after masterbuilds with considerable waiting times. Krause is definitely the masterbuilder who knows Eric's exact preferences better than anyone else. So we are delighted to be able to offer you a very special guitar from Krause today, a Stratocaster Eric Clapton in the extremely rare special color “Almond Green” (also known as “Aston Martin Green”) with a flawless NOS (“New Old Stock”) finish, adjustable Bi-Flex truss rod and “Vintage Staggered” tuners. And this Clapton Strat has it all! Its special features include three Fender “Vintage Noiseless” pickups and an active 25dB mid-boost, giving this guitar incredible versatility. The maple neck with a “Soft V” profile fits comfortably in the hand, the “Vintage Upgrade” frets are perfectly dressed as expected, and the alder body is incredibly resonant. When played clean, the guitar sounds very open, lively, sparkling and clear, and with every change of the mid-boost control you can visit another soundscape from Clapton's decades-long musical journey, even down to the fat, uncompromising sounds from his days with Cream and Derek & the Dominos. ...and as if all that weren't enough, we can offer you this gem including the frets in mint condition.
