Undoubtedly one of the brightest stars in the Fender firmament: masterbuilder Dale Wilson, known for his soundmighty and extremely well-balanced instruments, his perfect aging and his absolute meticulousness. It is now extremely difficult to get hold of one of his incredible instruments. So we are all the more delighted to be able to offer you this Telecaster, which is phenomenal in every respect. Classic “Aged Pale Nocaster Blonde” with an aging that makes you think you're holding a real old one in your hands. Hairline cracks, quirks and paint abrasions are by no means obtrusive, appearing in just the right places and giving the sorted ash body in combination with the wonderfully shaded finish a perfect vintage look. The somewhat stronger neck has the proven “52 Style U” profile with a 9.5'' fretboard radius and Narrow/Tall frets, which in combination with a dream weight of only 3030 grams results in maximum playing comfort. Furthermore, you really have something in your hands here, which benefits the Telecaster's vibration behavior wonderfully, but by no means feels too strong. It's wonderful to glide along the fretboard, thanks in part to the superbly dressed frets and the lacquer-free back of the neck. In terms of sound, Dale relies on handwound “Red Hot” pickups, which are the hottest wound Tele pickups available. With distortion they really blow you away, but that doesn't mean that this Tele doesn't charm you with a wonderfully warm and crystal-clear tone when played clean. ...but with plenty of fire that really makes it sing! We are extremely pleased to be able to offer you this very special Tele in top condition.
