This Blackguard blew us away three times over! First, when we took it out of its case and saw the fascinating aging and the fabulous "Butterscotch Blonde" finish. Super authentic and with this perfect Heavy Relicing, you immediately wonder who the masterbuilder was. But you'd be wrong — this Telecaster is actually a much more affordable Teambuilt Tele! The next surprise came when we plugged the guitar into the amp and played it. This dream Blackguard is also world-class in terms of sound! Even when played acoustically it's extremely resonant and loud. Through an amp, it truly shines: the two "Twisted Tele" pickups are a real revelation! At the bridge it's never thin, beautifully direct and wiry, yet also fat with a great response. In the middle position it delivers the most beautiful bell tone — a pure delight both clean and distorted. And the neck is wonderfully bluesy, nuanced and bell-like. You don't just play this guitar, you want to! The fact that the Telecaster's playability is also top-notch, thanks to a 9.5" fretboard radius, the extremely comfortable "1952 U" neck profile and the proven "Vintage Upgrade" frets is simply the icing on the cake of this fantastic package.
