Let's be honest: this is exactly what a '52 Heavy Relic Blackguard Tele should look like! It's really incredible what an aging masterpiece Dale Wilson has conjured up here. It couldn't be more authentic! This also makes it clear why this masterbuilder is now so busy that he no longer accepts orders and you have to wait more than 10(!) years for a work of art like this for existing orders. This model also has an assorted, lightweight ash body and weighs just 3120 grams. When played dry the sun rises behind Nashville. Pure Tele twang, super attack and a great tone. The two "Twisted Tele" pickups transmit the excellent vibration behavior to the amp in the best possible way. Beautifully bell-like, pearly and never too thin or shrill. Another highlight is the neck: wonderfully pleasant medium "Nocaster U" profile, which is almost reminiscent of a very light, soft V-profile and fits perfectly in the hand. And the proven 6105 frets and 9.5" fingerboard radius ensure state-of-the-art playing comfort. Although the spec sheet says 4-way switch the guitar has the classic 3-way switch belonging to the original 52 Tele and was also bought new like that by the previous owner.
