Fender Telecaster 52 Heavy Relic (2011)

This Telecaster knocked our socks off three times! First of all, when we took it out of the case and saw the blatant aging. With this perfect Heavy Relicing one immediately asks oneself who the masterbuilder was here and one is extremely surprised by finding out that it's actually a much cheaper teambuilt Tele. The next surprise came when we plugged the guitar into the amp and played it. This gorgeous Tele is also simply world class in terms of its sound! With its ideal weight of 3260 grams it is extremely resonant and loud even when played dry. On the amp it is then completely convincing: the “51 Nocaster” pickup at the bridge is never thin, beautifully direct, wiry and fat with a great response. In the intermediate position the most beautiful bell tone, both clean and distorted, is a real treat. And on the neck the “Twisted Tele” singlecoil is wonderfully bluesy, differentiated and bell-like. Not only can you work with the tone here, you want to! The fact that the Telecaster's playing characteristics are also absolutely top league thanks to a 9.5'' fingerboard radius, the extremely comfortable “Nocaster U” neck profile and the proven 6105 frets is just the icing on the cake of this fantastic overall package. We are delighted to be able to offer you this phenomenal guitar, which sound, playability and look are at the very highest level, in top condition apart from minimal traces of use on the first few frets.
