Master Dale Wilson's masterbuilt guitars have an excellent reputation and this '63 Telecaster in a classically attractive “Chocolate 3-Tone Sunburst” finish further cements his place among the guitar-making elite. Here, outstanding looks meet incredibly detailed sound! Typical of a '63 model this Telecaster with its resonant alder body delivers a wonderfully percussive basic sound, which the two “Handwound 63” singlecoils transmit to the amp in the best possible way, providing a perfect blend of punchy Tele twang and perfect brilliance without ever sounding sharp or shrill. Extremely defined, clear and yet beautifully warm and full-bodied! If you're looking for an exceptional Tele without compromise, this is the one for you—especially when distorted, this guitar resonates and vibrates in a way that is a true joy. The quartersawn maple neck features a deep dark AAA rosewood fingerboard, the popular “60 Style Oval C” profile, a more modern 9.5" fretboard radius, and the proven Narrow/Tall frets, combining traditional vintage feel with modern playability. The fabulous overall package is rounded off by detailed and authentic Heavy Relicing, which exposes the wood on the back of the neck and armrest and perfectly depicts the characteristic strumming marks on the body.
