In addition, this Tele Custom offers a great combination of features: the ideal neck (.790-.930'‘) for all hand sizes with a comfortable “60 Style Oval C” profile, 9.5’' fretboard radius and the proven Narrow/Tall frets. An extremely interesting pickup combination has also been installed here: a “Handwound Texas Special” at the bridge delivers the very best twang, never thin or shrill. As this pickup is wound a little hotter in comparison it is super direct with a fast attack, clear, differentiated and with a great tone! In other words, a Tele that you can really rock out with! The “Wide Range CuNiFe” on the neck produces the most voluminous humbucker sounds with lush basses and extremely clear trebles. This pickup can deliver “hi-fi” clarity while providing rich attack and defined tone, no matter how hard you play. Fender hired the famous pickup designer Seth Lover, who was able to develop a high-output version of the two-coil pickup with typical Fender tone. The "Wide Range CuNiFe" works with large coils and a CuNiFe threaded rod magnet, which produce the characteristic brilliant sound. Naturally warm Blues, Rock and Jazz sounds par excellence! And the look of the guitar is also enhanced by the chrome cover with open pole-piece design and a 70s Fender vintage logo.
