Hardly on the market, the George Harrison Tele is already sold out and already a sought-after collector's item. Prices up to 8.000,-€ are called in the meantime. We are pleased to offer you this rare piece in absolutely mint condition. This Rosewood Telecaster is a replica of the legendary Telecaster, which design legend Roger Rossmeisl gave as a gift to John Lennon in 1968 on behalf of Fender. This instrument was then made famous by the Beatles' "Rooftop" concert in London and has since been considered an iconic relic of rock history. Fender reissued this Rosewood Tele in a limited series of 1000 and of course the series sold out immediately. Unlike most original vintage Rosewood Teles, which are often barely playable due to their immense weight, here the body has been lightly chamfered. It weighs in at a comfortable 3545 grams. Other features include 9.5" fretboard radius, medium 60 C neck profile, American Vintage '64 Gray-Bottom single-coils and the custom neckplate with "Om" logo. Besides the collector's value you really get a great instrument with best playing and sound characteristics and the whole thing in top condition!
