It's rare to have the pleasure of getting your hands on a Jimmy Page Telecaster from the Fender Custom Shop. If you normally get to see a replica of this legendary guitar, it is usually a specimen from the USA standard series. We are therefore all the more delighted to be able to offer you this magnificent specimen in absolute top condition. It is Fender's tribute to Jimmy Page and one of his main instruments, which he played during his time with the Yardbirds and on groundbreaking albums such as “Led Zeppelin” and “Led Zeppelin II”. It is even said that his white Telecaster, which he later gave the famous “Dragon” finish, was responsible for the sale of countless Les Pauls, as listeners of Led Zeppelin's first two albums inevitably associated his fat sounds with a Les Paul. While this Custom Shop model also comes with the signature mirrors that Jimmy later added to mesmerize his audience in “psychedelic” fashion, as well as the exact instructions for gluing them on, this “White Blonde” instrument still represents the look that the original Telecaster had when Jeff Beck gave it to Jimmy as a gift in 1966. Wonderfully yellowed finish with a super authentic Journeyman relicing with only a few flaws. The playing characteristics of the Tele are also absolutely convincing, as the neck with a "Jimmy Page" custom profile is extremely comfortable to hold and can be played superbly with the 7.25'' fretboard radius and the "Vintage Upgrade" frets. As you'd expect the two "Handwound 58" pickups deliver fat Led Zeppelin-style sounds! "Good Times Bad Times", "Whole Lotta Love" and "Heartbreaker" - these are the sounds that this musical icon was made for!
