In addition, Gibson's “Memphis Historic Spec” humbuckers, considered among the best PAF clones, have been installed. The neck pickup is warm, transparent, and three-dimensional with clean amp settings, never muddy or indistinct in the bass. Depending on the gain setting the bridge pickup impresses with snap, punch, and smack without ever being too intrusive. Crisp riffs come across just as naturally as chunky chords or fat leads. With the finest double-coil sound lovers of Classic Rock and Blues will feel right at home here. And it's no surprise that this gem is wonderfully comfortable to play thanks to its dream weight of only 2810 grams. The medium neck profile also fits perfectly in the hand and the perfectly dressed frets ensure the very best playing characteristics.
