Gibson ES-335 63 Aged Custom Shop Nashville Limited (2014)

Only 25 specimens of these 63' Limited ES-335 Aged were built. And even in the Nashville Custom Shop! The guitar combines everything you would expect from a top 335. Super look with an amazing aging, best playability and an above-average sound behavior. The aging is rather discreet, but all the more authentic for it. Numerous hairline cracks and minor dings and dongs, as if the guitar had been played for 50 years but not mistreated. The neck has a pleasant medium profile like the more modern, somewhat slimmer '59 profiles. The frets are as good as new and slightly higher, making the ES easy to play. When played dry, you immediately notice how incredibly resonant the guitar is. Super response and tone development. This is exactly what you get on the amp. Great attack with beautiful, warm mids and shimmering highs. Always beautifully differentiated, even on the neck pickup. When distorted, it really rocks, ...smacking and with super sustain. From clean to bluesy and rocking, it leaves nothing to be desired. The ES is in top condition and has only been played very little.
