This Gibson ES-335 64 "Crossroads" Murphy Lab Light "Authentic" Aging was a special order from Musikhaus Hermann. The name may sound a bit confusing, but insiders should quickly recognize what this guitar is all about. The model was of course the legendary Clapton Crossroads ES 335. As a Musikhaus Hermann upgrade, the VCR Crossroads Cherry finish, the Authentic Aging and of course, how could it be different with a Clapton ES, the said Gold-Grover tuners were added. Only the Hare Krishna sticker is missing here. But this ES 335 is not only an absolute recommendation for all Clapton friends, but simply for everyone who is looking for a top ES 335. The neck is a bit flatter here, somewhere between Slim Taper and 59 Profile. Plays like itself. The custombuckers are fully convincing on the amp. Classic PAF sound in top form. The guitar is in top condition and both visually and sonically top class. In addition, the MHH upgrade unique features. The original price was 9.350,- Euro and the guitar is in top condition!
