Finding a really great Explorer is not that easy. After all, despite their classic status, these distinctive guitars are not built in nearly as large numbers as Les Pauls, SGs and the like. Here we have one of these rare birds and that in a special edition. The guitar comes from a limited run for Dutch dealer Max Guitars and comes in the all-mahogany variant. These Explorers were built for the 15th anniversary of the dealer. Visually the dark Walnut hue and gold hardware stand out and with the superbly done heavy aging, they look simply fantastic. If you take it in your hand, the feather weight of only 3640 grams and the powerful 58 neck are surprising. You wouldn't expect such a neck profile on an Explorer, but with the first notes you immediately notice the advantage of more swing mass: the guitar sounds simply super resonant, open and with lots of sustain, the chords and single notes pearl here both dry and amplified by the Custombuckers. The playing comfort is great once you get used to the more powerful profile. Whether floating Slow Blues or energetic Rock riffs - the guitar makes a great figure in all styles! We can offer it to you in mint condition.

There are no regular opening hours by Ten-Guitars. If you are interested in buying and trying our guitars you need to make an appointment via phone (+49-89-32168793) or mail.
You can write an e-mail or give us call to anytime and we will find a suitable date. It doesn't matter if you want to try the instruments in a loud Live situation in our soundproofed rooms or in our own little recording studio – everything is possible to find your dream guitar.
Important: For security reasons we don´t have all guitars in our house but we can bring them here very fast – even on short terms.
