This '57 Les Paul Custom from the Gibson Historic series is truly a winner. The guitar is built entirely according to the True Historic manufacturing process and therefore features historically accurate specifications. The neck is a dream, not as thick as some other '57 models, but still nice and grippy and not too slim. It fits perfectly in your hand! The guitar was made entirely in Nashville and the look is 100% right, too. Deep dark ebony finish, refined by a super authentic VOS patina, yellowed binding, Waffleback tuners and discreetly aged hardware. The Alnico-III Custombuckers deliver a beautifully rich, round and differentiated sound. This Les Paul really smacks and has great response, endless sustain and the neck pickup sings like a dream. The bridge pickup is rich and rocking with great mids, just as you'd expect from a good Custom. It's perfect for rich sounds à la Led Zeppelin, Def Leppard or Kiss!
