Zakk Wylde, world-famous guitarist who will forever be associated with legendary names such as “Ozzy Osbourne”, ‘Pantera’ and “Black Label Society”. Just as famous as this exceptional musician is the characteristic Bullseye design that has adorned the finish of his guitars for many years. Based on this, the Gibson Custom Shop has been producing various Bullseye signature series since 1999, with this magnificent piece from 2003 being part of the first series and manufactured as part of the “Custom, Art & Historic” collection. Mahogany body, maple top and neck, ebony fingerboard and active EMG pickups (bridge: EMG 81, neck: EMG 85) are just some of the features that make this iconic Paula so special! Endless sustain with an extremely aggressive, cutting and powerful sound at the bridge and a slightly warmer, softer and bassier sound at the neck. Smacking, roasty, but also transparent Rock sounds with a great string separation. The legendary Bullseye look of the black and white finish, which has yellowed over the years, is paired here with an equally “natural reliced”, gold-colored hardware, where the engraved truss rod cover and the Grover tuners look phenomenal. This exclusive Rock axe is extremely comfortable to play thanks to its "Medium C" neck profile, which is very similar to a '59 Medium profile. As a special treat that makes this guitar an absolute collector's item and one-of-a-kind, Zakk has also hand-signed the back of the headstock and the certificate in his very special way: "Ozzy", "BLS" (Black Label Society) and "SDMF" (Strength Determination Merciless Forever) are emblazoned under his signature. Over the years the Les Paul has of course also been played with pleasure and the unavoidable minimal signs of use and wear can be seen here accordingly. However, otherwise we can offer you the guitar including the frets in top condition.
