This super rare Les Paul Special with Firebird pickups comes from a limited series that was launched in 2018. This fusion of Firebird and Les Paul Special Double Cutaway convinces all along the line! The neck has a medium to strong C profile. Even though this is a 60s reissue it is by no means a “Slim Taper” neck. Resonant lightweight with only 3106 grams. ...and then in the classic color “Cherry Red” and the famous VOS finish, which gives the guitar a beautiful vintage patina. Super Rock'n'Roll guitar! Very fast response and the two Firebird pickups give the guitar excellent assertiveness. Very characteristic sound behavior like a Les Paul Special with an extra portion of bite and attack. Except for minimal signs of wear the guitar is in top condition and also features beautifully crafted VOS hardware, which only further enhances the vintage character of the guitar.
