According to a Gibson Forum poll, the CC#8 Beast is one of the top 4 most sought after Collectors Choice models. The increasing demand has made the Beasts almost completely disappear from the market and prices are rising rapidly. The exact copy of Whitesnake guitarist Bernie Marsden's '59 Les Paul is simply a fantastic player and the look with the heavy aging is totally convincing. Here we also have a super low serial number, a so-called single digit (one digit) #004. These are particularly sought after by collectors. Another special feature of this CC8 is the weight. As one of the very few Beasts, it weighs under 4 kilos and is thus a resonant lightweight. The top is also grained above average. The sun really rises on the amp here. Very open, resonant fundamental character with a great attack and a killer tone. The guitar comes from a collector, is in great condition and has almost no play marks on the frets.
