Certainly one of the most sought-after and rarest Custom Shop Les Pauls, the Gibson Les Paul Jimmy Page #2 Aged by Tom Murphy. Only 100 specimens were built and of course they have long been sold out and are virtually impossible to find anywhere in the world. That's why we are particularly pleased to be able to offer you #84 of these rare gems. What makes this #84 so special is that it comes from a collector and has never been played. It has been stored in its original box, which is included in the delivery. This guitar is an exact replica of Jimmy Page's '59 Les Paul. There is probably no other Les Paul that offers so many sound possibilities thanks to its comprehensive circuitry. Whether serial, parallel, splitting or phase reversal, everything can be switched here and every sound makes sense. It even comes with a foil insert that explains all the switch functions. A superb player guitar with a relatively flat '60s neck, but not quite as flat as the neck of the Number One or the serial Jimmy Pages. Murphy aging at its finest! This Les Paul is simply an iconic object and is unlikely to be found again in this condition and with such an extensive collector's package.
