We can only repeat: You simply can't go wrong with the Les Pauls from the 60th Anniversary series. This example of a 1960 Reissue is one of the very late models and therefore built in 2021. It also comes as part of an order from Musikhaus Hermann with hand-selected woods. One of the most striking features is therefore the magnificent, slightly diagonally flamed top in "Orange Sunset Fade". This is made of Eastern Maple, which is not available in the regular Gibson programme, which is why the guitar is officially considered a one-off (Made To Measure) and has a corresponding number. For playing practice, especially the neck with its comfortable V2 profile is relevant. To explain: The current 60s Reissues are available with three different neck profiles - from the rather strong V1 profile to the very slim V3. V2 with its "Slim Taper C-Shape" lies in the golden mean and is thus slimmer than a 59 profile, but not yet an extreme Slim Taper as known from later 60s Les Pauls. In practice, it just slides fantastically when playing. The sound fits perfectly with lots of attack and liveliness, without sacrificing warmth or sustain. The perfect Les Paul for all those who want that little extra in playing comfort! The guitar comes to you in mint condition.
