It was made specifically for Musikhaus Hermann and is of course equipped with the fantastic MHH upgrade specs such as special wood selection or thinner nitro lacquer for optimal resonance. In addition to this unique feature the present "Factory Special" immediately impresses with its great playing feel, which is of course the result of its killer weight of only 3605 grams, but also has to do with the fact that it does not use the usual "Chunky C" neck profile , but as another MHH feature the much more comfortable, medium "59 Authentic" profile. And what the look and playability already indicate is continued by the sound of the guitar: this Paula is simply phenomenal! Even when played dry the Les Paul, equipped with the legendary P90 pickups, is wonderfully resonant and shows exactly the sound on the amp that has been making the hearts of music lovers around the world beat faster for 68 years now. Everything from bright Funk to warm Blues to earthy Rock at its absolute best is possible here! And of course the guys at Murphy Lab have done a great job here again: countless small and tiny hairline cracks that run across the "battered" paint, heavily worn hardware and extreme abrasion in the characteristic areas. Extensive wear gives this Paula the unique character, vibe and feel of a Gibson Golden Era original. The top look is rounded off by the wonderfully deep dark back of the guitar as an additional surcharge option.
