Here we have the ultimate Les Paul for all friends of cultivated Rock music who like fat Paula sounds but don't want to strain their back at the same time. This limited edition '58 Les Paul comes from the Players Choice series, which was specially made for Session Music, and of course immediately catches the eye with its superbly grained top and unique color gradient. The pattern runs across the surface in a variety of patterns and shapes and shows fantastic depth. Zebra Custombucker pickups are used, which are extremely direct, dynamic, differentiated and have a great tone. Especially with Rock riffs the guitar has a very fast response and doesn't muddy up. And if you like singing lead sounds à la Gary Moore, you've come to the right place. Although this Paula is a '58, the 2017 Players Choices come with a slightly more powerful '59 Medium neck profile, which means that the Paula sits perfectly in the hand. ...and now we come to the most legendary feature of this Les Paul: it weighs just 3070 grams!!!! This was achieved by using the so-called “chambered” construction method, which results in phenomenal comfort and the very best playability that you rarely get to see. So it is certainly no wonder that the guitar was played a lot and with pleasure. As a result, on the one hand it is greatly swung in, but of course it also shows a few signs of use (see picture 19).
