What a cool player guitar! Super lightweight with only 3925 grams, an amazing top and a sound and look of the very best. The neck has a pleasant 58 profile, grippy, but in no way too strong. Lies perfectly in the hand, super comfortable. The previous owner has optimized the guitar in many ways. He replaced the bumblebees, as well as the volume and tone pots with higher quality CTS-pots and replaced the original pickups with Seymour Duncan "Slash Alnico-II Zebra" humbuckers. Conversions that make absolute sense, but of course reduce the price. Furthermore, he has made improvements by installing "Art of Aging" pickup frames and Kluson tuners (Except for the pots and the pickups all replaced original parts are included). So this Paula is optimal for all who can do without untouched solder joints, but are looking for an absolutely soundmighty player at a top price. Sonically, the wonderfully played-in and swung-in Les Paul with its Seymour Duncan Zebras can of course immediately show where the hammer hangs: it sings and sounds like few guitars: rich, fat Slash sounds, defined, transparent and dynamic. Smacking, roasting and uncompromising! Of course it was played with pleasure and therefore has a few minor traces of use. But you don't notice them anyway, because you are taken by the look of the enchantingly beautiful top with its incredible grain...
