This Les Paul was custom made by the Gibson Custom Shop as part of the extremely limited "Inspired by" series from Musikhaus Hermann after personal wood selection by Jörg Hermann and Tom Murphy. The inspiration for this guitar was, of course, Guns'n'Roses guitarist Slash's 1958 Les Paul Standard, which he purchased in 1988. And this one-of-a-kind "InSaul" really shows all the features of the original: plain-maple top in a super authentic sunburst, exposed pickup, the unmistakable abrasions under the pot knobs, and the grayish worn pickguard. All of this is completed by the custom "Antique First Standard Burst" finish and the perfect ultra-heavy aging of the Murphy Lab with countless hairline cracks, quirks and paint-free spots. At the same time, you fall in love with the insane sound of this Les Paul. Already very loud, resonant and airy when dry, the unpotted MHH custom-buckers, which are modeled after old PAFS and perfectly reproduce the complexity of the originals, sound extremely transparent, clear and slightly nasal with reduced output (at the bridge without cap even a bit more open, clearer and more transparent). With Zerre goes here then really the post: smacking, roasting and uncompromising - as you know and love it from Slash! The fantastic overall package is rounded off by the very pleasant "1959 to 1960 Fine Rounded Authentic" neck profile, which ensures the best playability. We are pleased to offer you this incredibly detailed replica of an absolute iconic guitar, which list price was close to EUR 15,000, in mint, nearly unplayed condition.
