Gibson Les Paul 58 VOS (2017)

We are delighted to be able to offer you a guitar from the personal collection of Michi Wagner, who you know from our videos. Attracted by the beautiful Burst color he discovered this '58 Darkburst with a plain top five years ago at Ten Guitars and has used it as his personal player ever since. The Les Paul is visually rather plain, but its qualities as an instrument are all the more impressive! A strong but not too thick '58 neck ensures playing fun, the ideal weight of 3.95 kg doesn't get in the way even during longer gigs and the sound is exactly what you would expect from such a Les Paul: juicy, warm, full, but with enough treble and transparency so that all clean sounds are also covered brilliantly. Of course the countless gigs and sessions have left their mark on the guitar. The finish is covered in a multitude of small and large dings and dongs, the back has changed color from red to brown due to daylight exposure in the guitar stand, the plastic backing of the input jack broke and was replaced by a metal one. The frets also show little signs of wear, but are still a long way from needing to be replaced.
